Bill of Lading

A bill of lading is a document that your supplier drafts and attaches to your products, providing evidence of ownership.

There are several kinds of bill of lading, depending if you ship by air or sea.  All of them should designate you as the products’ intended recipient.  Once the products are delivered to your door, and you sign the bill of lading, the products are legally yours.
