After you’ve selected your Alibaba.com supplier, it’s time to negotiate the terms of your deal.

Price is obviously one item you should discuss. But it’s just one of the many things that you’ll need to consider. Other equally important items include:

Quality guarantees

• Payment schedules
• Lead times
• Delivery schedule
Shipping costs
Customs fees
Insurance
• Confidentiality

Experienced buyers negotiate every little detail, because they know money can be made (and lost) on every little item. Since it’s your money, why not make the most of it.
