Shipping: Air

Air shipping is almost always the quickest but most expensive way to ship products, especially for international shipping.  It’s often the best option for small orders – and for when you need your products immediately.  However, for large orders or large products, air shipping might not be a viable option (because it’s too expensive).

FedEx, UPS, and DHL are the three major international air shippers.  These companies have local branches all over world, including China.  However, within China, many Chinese suppliers prefer to use EMS and TNT because of their lower prices.

An air shipper will typically pick up products from your supplier and deliver them directly to your doorstep.  Your supplier has to provide the necessary paperwork for export, but the air shipper will take care of the rest.  Once your products have been picked up, the air shipper will issue a tracking code so you can follow your shipment online.
